Guide to the Pediatric Urology Fellowship Match

Please note: Pediatric urology fellowship match results, applicants to begin in 2011, were released in June 2010 (results found below). The information currently found on this webpage and the AUA Match Program webpages focus on the 2011 urology residency match process. While the processes are similar, please check back with the SPU and the AUA for an updated timeline for the specialty match process. Applicants participating in the next pediatric urology fellowship match cycle will begin fellowships in 2012.

Matched applicants to begin in 2011
2011 Urology Timeline
- Spring 2010 – January 5, 2011: Match information online and online registration process. Please register at http://www.auanet.org/eforms/resmatch/.
Match registrations accepted through December 17, 2010.
- Fall – January 2011: Applicants interview at urology training programs with which they have made previous arrangements.
- December 2010 – January 5, 2011: Online preference list phase.
All preference lists must be submitted no later than January 5, 2011.
- January 6 - 21, 2011: The matching process is performed, using all possible safeguards and cross checks to ensure fairness, accuracy and confidentiality.
- January 24, 2011: Match results are sent via email.
- January 24, 2011: NRMP Deadline. If matched with a urology program, individuals must check to see whether required to complete the process of NRMP match for surgery training at their matched institution.
