Fellowships | Pediatric Fellowship Match Schedule

1. Summer/ Fall of the year before your chief residency year (year 5 for 6-year residencies, and year 4 for 5-year residencies): Contact the individual programs for their fellowship application, requirements, etc.
2. Nov. – May 12, 2008: Register for the match. After registering, a match number will be emailed to you.

   Arrange interviews with the programs that have offered an interview. Some programs conduct all interviews on a single day, and others hold interviews on several different days on an individual basis.

3. May 12, 2008: Deadline to sign up for the pediatric urology match.
4. Mid-May: All applicants and programs will receive an email with instructions to submit their online match preference lists. Applicants and programs should submit their match preference lists as dictated in the match program instructions, showing their highest preference first and listing in descending order remaining choices.
5. June 6, 2008: Deadline for receipt of all online preference lists.
6. June 6-17, 2008: The matching process is performed by the same AUA computers that perform the urology residency match. A number of cross-checks and safeguards will be utilized to ensure fairness, accuracy and confidentiality.
7. June 20, 2008: Results are sent to programs and applicants via email.
